Does anyone have load data for this caliber? It is out of a 20" barrel and a 336 receiver. Thanks.

Looking for more options, but can't find very many other than the one I have now.

PS: Start your loads at the bottom and work up and watch for pressure signs on your cases and or your shoulder:cool:

PPS: I have load data from my Sierra 3rd Edition Manual but you would have to tell me what powders and/or bullet weights your are needing the info on. Their data was with the same handgun but recommended using Federal 210 Primers with Sierra bullets and are more liberal than I want to quote to everybody for starting -- Excellent cartridge in my T/C Contender Super 14" hand-cannon!!!

Something doesn't sound right about this load:
IMR4227 26.4 28.6 (30.8gr MAX) 1200-1400 FPS

I am getting 1300 fps from a 5.5" Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 Magnum.

Also, these will be shot from a 1:18 twist 20" lever action. I'd have to think that the Supermag out of a 8.5" barrel would beat the velocity out of my 5.5" SBH in .44 Mag.

Accurate had some data before they were acquired by Western or somebody. The only powders I ever found satisfactory in that cartridge were W680 (discontinued) and AA1680 (a duplicate of W680).
