45 ACP Cases & Best P loads

I was wondering is the 45 P case the same size as the regular 45 case. Also what is a good load for 45ACP P loads. I use 231 powder but I could get some other powder if it would be better for loading Ps. Also what is your favorite bullet brand and weight for a 45 P for defense and do you use just the large primen or you use the mag primer? Thanks

I'm pretty sure you are talking about .45ACP +P loads...I don't, however, know what bullet you are using. W-231 is my favorite powder for all my +P loads...In .38 Special (125 SJHP & 140 SJHP grain bullets), 9 X 19 (115 grain HP bullet) and .45 ACP (185 grain HP bullet)...
