What i have is a 6 cavity LEE bullet mold model TL452-230-2R it makes a .452 Diameter 230 gr. For .45 long colt. My brass is Winchester LC .45 does anybody know the cole or gage number so i can properly seat the bullet and crimp the brass in the right place i have a 8th edition hornady book and a speer reloading book but i still can't find the correct information in either books. i would say they would shoot fine in my judge revolver but they will not chamber or eject in my henry 45 rifle would you say i need to resize my brass or seat the bullet lower hear is a picture of my bullet mold and bullet... i thought the place to crimp the bullet would be right in the middle of the last ring on the bullet and that makes it too long for my henry

While that bullet is intended for the .45 ACP, it will work in the .45 Colt, and yes you can crimp into the last lube groove, or over the front one etc.

I am surprised crimping at the top groove gives an O.A.L. to long for your Henry. Normal .45 Colt bullets will be close to that long.

1.675 on the left 1.645

1.645 is what is exceptable to chamber & eject through my henry and thats crimping past the last groove.. now i just need to find the right powder load ..I'm using reddot and unique
