6.5 mm Question

Is 6.5x47 Lapua (zak thank you for the correction) ammunition now commercially available or is it still a wildcat round?
If so, who makes it, and what commerically available rifles are there for it?

I dont think it is, but the Grendel round is. i personally would love someone to do a modern action rifle, and modern cart. load, in 6.5 japanese.

6.5x47 Lapua factory ammo and brass is all available from Lapua.

I don't think you could say that 6.5x47 was ever a wildcat. You can say that about the 6-6.5x47 though.

it is available for purchase at Midway and Grafs. I don't think there are any rifles commercially available for it. Everything is custom.

If you have a Savage, you can slap a Shilen supermatch barrel on it in about 15 minutes. I love mine so far...
