60 years, new 3622

Some may not know that Crosman makes a pump version, the 362, and there was an expensive 100 years anniversary model with nice wooden stock and medallion of the 362. But, I am into PCPs of late and have all the needed equipment to make them go, thus the new 3622 :).

How does it shoot? I’ve got one of the recalled Icons that I’m waiting to hear about the resolution for.

I have it sighted in for 20 yards. That little orange dot is the target I shot with JSB 18 grain pellets. It considerably prefers those to the CPHP but then what does not?

I think it shoots fine and feels great in hand being so small and light and thin. The 3622 is a 16 fpe rifle, 24+ shots per fill just as advertised, good for plinking and squirrels, rabbits and similar at up to 30 yards. Here the 3622 compares to one of my (highly modified and customized) MRod:

The 3622 is a very simple, bare bones, single shot that will be fun to play with and mod. I have already added the Crosman steel breech assembly. The 2000 psi fill and 80cc volume make it easy to hand pump and just a pssst from my scba tank. And made in USA :).

I may remove the BSA 2-7X33 scope and go to a Williams rear peep sight. Even my eyes still work at 20 yards! Or what I really want is a very small and light and inexpensive 2X optic.

I always bump test my rifles. The 3622 shows no sign of drop induced accidental discharge.
