What kind of train does he drive? That isn't a bad idea, might have to give that a shot if all else fails (but I will likely use the cheap Korean steel mags for chopping up).My friend Mark is an engineer, and he cut my HK416 feed [towers] and welded them on a cut off AK mags , all 7 mags he did work 100%.
Can't say, I have never tried them, but I have heard that the "almighty-HKs" have had their share of issues too (IIRC the military pulled them all out of service). I stick to PMags, Lancer's, and USGI for my .223 (of course none of the aforementioned make x39 mags). I do have a few Korean M1 Carbine magazines and they have all performed admirably, so I would be willing to give the Korean STANAGs a shot too.How is the south Korean steel mags?...are they as good as HK ?
