75 G V max in an ar?

I am wondering if you can shoot a 75g Hornaday V max Bullet out of a AR i ask bc i started to load some up and it seems like im compressing the load to get it to fit the 2.260 lenght. it also seems like i am not getting the walls of the bullet in the neck but starting to get the angle , the point

i was using 23. grams of Varget in LC brass.. only loaded 2 BC it just didnt seem correct. yet the recipe from the .223 dies says its ok
 
You need to look at using a 75gr OTM or 77gr OTM for mag length in that weight range.

You need a RCBS Precision MIC or Hornady OAL gauge to set up them for single feeding in an AR platform.
