My paperwork should be back soon for my YHM Phantom suppressor for my AR-15. I'd like to play around with some sub sonic loads but don't want to have to shell out a buck per round or more. I found 3 subsonic loads on Accurate Powder's website but the heaviest weight bullet is a 75 grain BTHP. I was wondering if anybody had any recipes for a subsonic .223 load using 80 or 90 grain bullets seated to mag length?

Experimenting with SUB-SONIC LOADS

Buy yourself a copy of the LEE "Shooter" PROGRAM FOR ABOUT $13+.
It takes your existing powder and bullet down.......

the 80 and 90 g SMK bullets are probably going to have excessively sucky terminal ballistics at subsonic speeds.

also, you need to have a 1/7 twist and maybe a 1/6.5 twist for the 90s if you're shooting them that slow
