Just another miracle ammo of the week. Stick with your major brands.

Its gotta be good. The Cheaper than Dirt ad has a box with two ladies on it! :D

Once again, the Cheaper than Dirt crew think that people will buy into that type of hype (maybe they do). Then again, the Cheaper than Dirt catalouges look like a Chinese flea market threw up in it...

Does anyone else think their intelligence as a shooter is being insulted with rounds/concepts like this?

^Yes. 5" deep and 5" wide penetration? No thanx.

Remington Golden Sabers for me, no matter the caliber. The closest thing to a "flying ashtray" I've found, and designed by the best (remember Black Talons?)

At the risk of restarting the old "if it was a 'good shoot' it shouldn't matter" argument, I am not sure I would want to use ammunition marketed as "Dead Right There." :scrutiny: I think I will stick with more conventional, sedately named hollowpoints. And happily pocket the difference in price. ;)

Sounds identical to Xtreme Flaming Farts.

Complete and total junk. If you shot someone with that, and it wasn't in the eye socket or throat, they would get very angry, beat the crap out of you, then go to the hospital and die of lung cancer 6 months later, since that's what embedded tungsten does to you.

In 9mm, absolutely the only ammo I'd use is 147 gr Rem Golden Saber.

That is only hype from Cheaper-than-Dirt; the manufacturer doesn't state that anywhere on their website (at least, that I could find).

For those considering this ammunition, I think you should buy it because it's on sale for such a low price. Originally listed @ :what: $105 per box, if you can get if for only $70, you're darn near stealing it!! And, it does have those two hot babes on the box (and one of them looks to be a redhead!!).

The magic occurs on an Organic Target. The fine powder is as fine as talcum powder. When it contacts the organic target, the powder is spinning at such a high rate it instantly disperses, creating a crater in the target resulting in Instant Death. The wounds are typically 5" deep and 5" wide. A full 100% energy dissipation as the bullet totally disappears to invisible dust.

Sham-Wow

This ammo is coming from a manufacturer that has:

1. 2 girls posing on a box
2. Promises "Instant Death" of the target
3. Tells me that my 9mm round will go straight through the telephone pole.
4. Gives analogies to Rail Gun and barrells of BBs spinning at 160.000 RPM
5. Costs 70 USDs for a box of 9mm.
6. Tells of "hush hush" stuff in the "sand box" (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean). Yeah, I know they're referring to Middle East. :)

I have absolutely 0 (zero) confidence in this product, unless they're willing to back up their claim with independent test by a reputable source and compared to brands like Gold Dots Hydro Shocks and SXTs. Other than that it's all bull.

What a load of crap.

cheaper than dirt,, sounded like they thought you could or would try shootong 1000m matches with this?? ummm

my opinion,, my gun and I like golddots.

Hmmm. I'm not sure that two hot babes on a box that I don't know are really worth $70. :D

I'll stick with Fed Premium LE HST's and Golden Sabers for my 9mm.

If you filled a 55 gallon drum with a zillion number 9 shotgun pellets and then shot it out of some space age rail gun with the round spinning at 160,000 RPM, you would have a very deadly round. That is kind of what is happening but...

Oh my..

So how many pellets exactly are in a "zillion"????????? 'Cause I'd like to know how they calculate the ratio between the 55 gallon drums and shotgun pellets.. And if they apply the same "physics" to the rest of their production line process.

funny...until i clicked on the link to see the picture, i assumed the "DRT" meant dead right there. that'd be an interesting brand to market your ammo under...

Hmm weren't black talons made by Winchester? Or is my memory failing me?

Dope

I always thought that putting any kind of "sexy women artwork" on your gun related product box looks tacky. I could be wrong here, but I would much rather have just a plain white box with some writing on it, than 2 chicks with guns. Just looks dumb, is all.

Manufactured by Winchester, but I believe Hank's right, the Black Talon and Golden Saber rounds were both designed by the same guy, just sold to different companies. I think he may have also designed the Eldorado Starfire?
