The good old Federal 9BP is never a bad choice.
Agree.
My personal preference is for standard pressure 124 grain then 115 grain loads.
I have always kept one spare mag with hardball , just how raised, for me and mine with tasks and settings.
Now I go back before some of today's loading come to be, and these loadings still work.
i.e. Don't overlook Fiocchi loadings, often times these quality loads are less monies than other choices.
Federal 9BP , Fiocchi, and others may not get all the glitz, glitter or 'Net time, still these are proven.
One needs to test in guns, and while many will post negative, I will say Win STHP 115 grain have fed for me and mine in anything we have shot them in.
FWIW the WWB 115 Personal Protection matches the STHP 115 gr in measurements, in chrono results, and in shooting dirt and critters.
Best kept secret is Blazer aluminum in both hardball and JHP.
