Hey Blackhawk: how about them pineapples brother.
(He's referring to a TFL thread about handling the pain of shooting when afflicted with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Don't have CTS, but I'd found that eating pomegranates eliminated the joint pain I'd been increasing experiencing as time goes by. Pineapples were touted as an alternative, which I'd been seeking since pomegranates are only in season for about 3 months a year.)

Funny you should ask! I got a fresh pineapple last week and substituted it for pomegranates.

First, it's JUST as effective as they are, so there's the substitute!

Second, pineapples have to be the best kept diet secret ever! I first tried some of it for lunch before eating the rest of the meal. It completely screwed up my taste buds so that everything else tasted repulsive. My guess is that somebody munching on fresh pineapple at the beginning of a meal would simply would be repulsed at the thought of eating anything else. There must be some magic compound in the very core or near the rind that does that because canned pineapple doesn't go near the rind and has the core completely cut out.

Guess I'll have to learn to speak Hawaiian.

Mele Kalikimaka, for those of you who care about such things!

Blackhawk-

Its not often that someone makes me almost fall out of my bed reading posts, but you have seemed to have done that twice with this pineapple thing. Glad that the pineapples have given you a hand. You can always make pineapple juice or a mixture of some sort.

Mele Kalikimaka to you too.

I don't know about 9mm and .45. But as far as the 10mm and .40S&W goes, you just discribed my G29!! Except for the nickel plated part. ;)

.45 is the only way to go. But the only thing plastic on the delivery system shold be the holster it rides in. :)

Oh screw that, make mine belt-fed! :D

Sorry folks, gotta jump in! Never had the nerve to comment on
these threads in an established forum, but since we're all new
here...

9mm #1 because.... Low recoil
Low cost
More rounds
Only hits count - (Hit'em right - size don't
matter - assuming enough...)
Penetration

In Glocks, of course! :D

Coffee

Who'da thunk it? Blackhawk stirs the pot.....

Hmmmm.....

And can someone tell Dan that there ARE other pistols in the world....? :D

9mm doesn't have to be for tupperware.

The round does have a purpose. Of course, if I could've bought one of these in .45...

Stuck with a 6" model, oh well. :D
