I have watched the biased news coverage of Virginia Tech that ABC News has broadcast over the last week. The drivel that they have put out over the airwaves was on almost every night. Their reporters Jake Tapper and David Wright have taken the lead in this crusade of the ABC News network. They want to effect change. That change will impact us. It might not result in laws enacted over the short term. But it will help shape and gain mindshare. That is an insidious festering problem for us gun owners.
I learned early in my adult life from an activist Rabbi out of NY. Avi Weiss would not and does not let any attack go without response. Others have picked up that mantra. Look at Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. I believe that these latter leaders learned that being persistent is half the battle. Whether or not you agree with any of these folks is irrelevant. Take a look and learn from their tactics. So what about the firearm owners of America? To a large extent they are lazy. We all need to change that. So we need to gird our loins and move out to the battlefield. In my blog (www.sasquatchmemoirs.blogspot.com) I list several addresses for ABC News executives. Please take a look. If you have a moment to reach out to these corporate folks do so. Vote with your email, letters or phone calls. I have done my part, please consider doing yours. Each of us can contribute a little, but the totality of our actions will be substantial.
