Accurate "Magnum Rifle Powder"

I have 2 #s of this powder and cannot find any loading data with the exception of a few calibers included in the cans only with maximum loads and three bullet weights. I read in a tread (I couldn't open the whole thing, only the headline and one sentence)on the web that it is similar to H4831 or IMR4831. This powder was discontinued (apparently) a while back. Does anyone have more info on this powder? Again it is Accurate "Magnum Rifle Powder" No numbering whatsoever.

MRP, magnum rifle powder; was produced by Norma.
Data is available from Norma. Send them an e-mail and they can send you some data in english.

This failing, you can use IMR4831 data to start with. MRP is a bit slower burning but not far off from H4831. To use the IMR4831 data is to err on the light side.
The MRP is what I believe that is being used in the current Norma produced factory ammo. If so, it is capable of extream accuacy, imo.
Norma don't load no junk!

The Lee #2 has some data for MRP.

Western/Accurate has MagPro and "Magnum" powders.

To make things even more confusing, Winchester used to have XMR, eXtruded Magnum Rifle powder.......

Accurate did make a powder called "Magnum Rifle Powder". It has been discontinued. I believe it is similar to the also discontinued AA 3100. Call Johan at Accurate for more info.

Gentlemen, the powder was made by ACCURATE.
The name of the powder is "MAGNUM RIFLE POWDER" it is not any other magnum powder. It is what it says, no typo or other mistaken identity.

Following up on my pursuit of loading data. The can or rather plastic bottle included some loading data as I mentioned. The 7x57 Mauser is on the list. I wanted to see if the powder is suitable for the 6.5 Swedish. The case capacity is identical of those two calibers. The main difference is .5 mm in projectile diameter and some dimensional differences in the case. Both Cases have 3.68 cc capacity. If I use the same bullet weight as listed for the 7x57, can I use the 7x57 data for the 6.5 Swedish? If not what is the reason (I am trying to learn)

i was looking for something else and came across your question. i had purchased 2 plastic containers of Accurate "magnum rifle powder" quite a while ago. loading information was on a small foldout pamphlet inside the container but i lost them somewhere along the way. i'm sure it's in one of my reloading books probably as a page mark.

but... i finally realized that at the bottom of the label on the powder container it states " ballistically comparable to Hodgdon 4831 and IMR 4831. For expanded uses refer to Accurate 3100. "
i take from it that you use the loading data from Accurate's 3100 powder for your Accurate Magnum Rifle Powder. at least that is what i have done for my 338 win mag. i was going to give you some loading data from my Accurate manual but it depends what bullet you are using. knowing that you are trying to learn i would suggest getting your hands on one of the manufacturers manuals of the brand of powder you will be using and read it. they give a lot of information about safety, accuracy, conversion charts and lots of other info. lots of reloading info on the web also but i only use my printed reloading books for tried and extensively tested data from companies i know and trust . Accurate's 3100 was discontinued and if you can't find any load data for it contact me and i will give you the info from my Accurate reloading data book.

Defcon, the type of interpolation you propose is flawed because the bearing surface of the 6.5mm bullet is greater than a 7 mm bullet of the same weight in most instances resulting in more resistance and higher pressures.
