Look it up for yourself. Kerry will use spin doctors to make himself look moderate but judging from records like this McGovern could be considered a right wing extremist! The more people learn about Kerry I think the less chance he is going to be elected but in the even he does get elected we can perhaps blame the more right wing purists who think that unless Bush is 100% voting their way then they'd rather have an ultra liberal in office appointing federal and supreme court justices. With this sort of attitude the right will become as marginalized as the Greens.

Don's discount that a LOT of people absolutely HATE the President and may vote for the self-proclaimed "The Comeback Kerry" as the lesser of two evils.

Then again, a LOT of people HATED Bill Clinton in 1996 and he easily beat Bob Dole.

There's so much that people don't yet know about Kerry. For instance here's the cover of his book, The New Soldier, depicting a number of individuals mocking the Iwo Jima memorial with an upside down flag:

"Kerry was a supporter of the "People's Peace Treaty," a supposed "people's" declaration to end the war, reportedly drawn up in communist East Germany.

It included nine points, all of which were taken from Viet Cong peace proposals at the Paris peace talks as conditions for ending the war."

He rtestified to Congress that " U.S. soldiers had "personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam."

He later stated that he hadn't personally witnessed any of this.

I don't think idd was making a Kerry connection to "Tiger Force." Kerry was never a Screaming Eagle.

I think idd was documenting his belief that Kerry was right in his characterization of U.S. Veterans as war criminals. Perhaps I'm wrong, if so idd, please correct me.
