Nero45,
The collapsible stocks holds up pretty well. We intentionally cracked on during exercises but it wasn't easy. Under normal use, it should last for many years. It is warranteed by Tapco for life as are their mags.
I'm not sure what we would guarantee on our guns but the welds and machining. The base guns are made by someone else and the rest of the parts are after-market.
Let me try to address skypilot's well thought out input here.
1) It's an SKS. It's certainly not advanced just because you put a new stock on it.
[[ We did a hell of a lot more than put a stock on it. Instead of retyping the original post, go read it.]]
2) How is a Yugoslavian and Chinese SKS considered Soviet?
[[No one said it was. The SKS is, and always will be, Soviet design no matter what country it is made in. THAT's where we got the name. Simple really.]]
3) Tactical Entry carbine... more meaningless tacti-cool gibberish. Overly accessorized, over-priced bubba-rifle would be a more accurate description.
[[Since your knowledge of entry weapons seems somewhat limited, maybe you should actually give one a try so that you have some facts to consider. This may come as a surprise but since I thought this up, I'm building them and I'm selling just about as many as I can keep up with, I guess I can name it whatever I want. But thanks for your input.]]
The SKS is a good rifle in its own right, but this is like putting an M4 stock on an M1 Garand. It's actually shameful.
[[They are a hell of a lot better when we get done with them.
