I went to there website. After reading their position, I sent this:

I have been a hunter, trapper, and outdoorsman for 30 years. I support the
2nd.
But I can not support AHSA. Any group that only thinks "hunting" gun should be leagle does not support the 2nd.
Please stop being a gun snob and understand that the .gov will get around to you next.

"Stop being a gun snob"

Look, the organizers of AHSA are opposed to civilian ownership of guns except traditional hunting guns. They have overlapping leadership with some of the most extreme anti-gun-rights groups. They are linked to some Democrat groups. They're as much a gun control group as the Brady Campaign is.

AHSA is a false flag operation whose express intent is to marginalize the "radical" NRA.

Telling the trickster that you're onto him isn't going to change his mind.

Telling the trickster that you're onto him isn't going to change his mind.

Yeah, it's like telling a thief, "hey I saw you trying to steal that! You're a thief!" "Oh gee, you're right, I'll never steal anything again!"

MOCKING them in public however pays VAST dividends, ESPECIALLY if you can trick one of them into engaging you. We did that with their '80s predecessor in usenet, and boy was it UGLY!

They're remarkably similar to the neo-Nazi trolls who used to invade talk.politics.guns like clockwork. They prey on the ignorant and the uninformed, but if you give them a public swirly every time they show up, they just become laughingstocks.

Tactically, the name for what the AHSA is doing is called, "fifth column placement", the tactic after that is called, "divide & conquer". They know exactly what they are doing because their new modus operandus is using the "Trojan Horse Ploy" to get that fifth column in place. They are gun grabber elitists with no respect for tradition, these are socialists and communists in disguise, plain and simple. So simple to understand why spies used to be shot.

I think that all threads on the subject of AHSA should be LOCKED, and replaced with a FAQ on them that clearly says, "this is a gun control organization, affiliated with various other extremist gun-control groups."

This is so not worth discussing. Even talking about them opens up the idea that there is some debate as to their nature.

Who's the guy that was an NRA lobbyist, was fired by NRA for whatever reason, and then was hired by Brady? Was that Bob Ricker?:barf:

They claim to support hunting and say they do not want to ban hunting guns, but they are closely associated with PETA and other anti-hunting organizations. Wolf in sheep's clothing, indeed.

While some "gun control" groups almost seem reasonable, their true mission is revealed by the extremists, which the "mainstream" anti-gunners refuse to denounce.

Believe me, the anti-gun gang, no matter what they pretend at the moment, are not discriminatory. They want to ban ALL guns. And LEOs should not get complacent. They want to disarm all LEOs except federal agents, who could be issued guns temporarily, but only on the direct, written order of the President, just like nukes.

Even more extreme are those who want the military disarmed. The armed forces would be reduced to pre-WWII levels. Troops would not be allowed arms or ammunition unless in actual combat; they would carry wooden guns for drill and train on simulators. Navy ships would sail without ammunition, which would be sent to them if there was a war. Air Force planes would have ammunition only in war time and only in very limited quantities.

Correct, SWMAN

Bob Ricker is a former lobbyist for both the NRA and CCRKBA, who later turned against gun owners. He's the founder of AHSA.

Ricker was in Olympia, WA, just last month, testifying in favor of SB 5197, a "gun show loophole" bill. He starts by saying that there are 70+ million gun owners in the U.S., and only four million NRA members, implying that the other 66 million oppose the NRA's "extremist agenda."

(When the truth is that there are 66+ million gun owners out there who are just to lazy, too apathetic, or too cheap to join. If just HALF of the gun owners in the U.S. joined ANY national gun rights advocacy group, we could write our own legislation.)

Liberal Gun Nut makes a good point (of course I only say this because I embrace all Liberals that respect the Constitution), May the fruit of your loins prosper and multiply.:D
