AK-100 Series Folding Stock Question

I own a Vectork AKM Varient with black furniture and I would like to make it look like the newer AK-100 Series (AK-103) by installing the folding version of the polyamide stock. I have found the stock for sale along with the associated folding trunion mechanism but I have been advised that I need a gunsmith to install it because holes need to be cut into the receiver.

First of all, is anyone familiar with these left-side folding black synthetic stocks and are they sturdy and reliable? Second, I do not know any gunsmiths in my area that would install such a product. Does anyone know who could install it for me and how much it would set me back?

The conversion is quite involved. An angle cut must be made on the rear of the receiver and of course, the old trunnion must be removed. Then, two larges cutouts must be made on either side of the receiver at the back... and a smaller cutout for the locking notch at the front.

Ken Kubin of Global Military gunsmithing will do it. Expect 200 dollars or so.

Alternately, Robinson is making an FAL-type folding stock for stamped AKs that looks excellent and requires a bit less alteration to the rifle (only the stock tang needs to be removed from the rear block; a pretty simple DIY project). If you're interested, you can find it here.
