This is a picture thread. In this thread, in order to celebrate the 4th of July, post pictures of firearms designed and manufactured in the United States.

Example: You may post a picture of a Colt M1911 (designed and built in US). But you may not post a picture of Rock Island M1911 (designed in US but built in the Philippines).

And yes, I realize this is July 3rd, we are celebrating July 4th eve as well :)

I keep my musket loaded in case those fog breathers show back up. Keep it going!

Only a couple.

Dan Wesson 15-2 designed and made in Monson, Mass.

ArmaLite M-15A2 Base design from Hollywood California and made in Geneseo, Illinois.
Ignore the Turkish-made 1911. It's the only full-length picture I have of the rifle ATM.

Ely Whitney Musket Model 1812 69 caliber. Made in New Haven

I hope I don't break the rules for posting an M1 because of the Canadian connection, but here goes:

We had just given that rifle to my FIL - it was taken the day after Christmas a couple years ago. It was cold, about -15 or so IIRC.

Just had to go with this since the "MADE IN USA" was the biggest.

Since all but the wife's Taurus 85 and my black powder pistols are American made, I'll just post one of each in a couple of catagories.

So, ther we go, a levergun and a single action cover the "traditional", and the AR and 1911A1 cover the "tactical/trendy".

I have several all-American guns, but I'll go with this original 1860 Army that's been in my family since the Civil War :)

Happy Independence Day to you all!

In the spirit of Independence Day. Made by me here in my shed, well, from a kit made in America. My replica of an Isaac Haines .45 cal early Lancaster flintock. Carvings are representative of parts of my family crest (not made in America). Happy 4th everyone.
