Yumakid, Chevy Silverados are great trucks for sure!
I have loaded mine up and hauled so much dirt, cement, gravel, scrap wood, and a bunch of stuff. It's just a good, solid, well made truck. Yeah the truck is getting probably 16 mpg at best, but if you put a fiberglass cover like a tawnow over the bed you can get better mileage. The heater is good, and the speakers are great! I had the transmission rebuilt, and there's a brand new V8 crate motor in it when I got it.
It actually belonged to a pilot at one point too, and pilots generally take good care of their vehicles. Because if a plane has a malfunction, you can't just pull over! Must be a mindset that most pilots have. Said pilot only used it to get from his house to the airport, so it's in pretty good shape!
Yeah, vehicles are a lot like guns. My mother's Mercedes Benz drives like a well tuned Smith and Wesson revolver, with blued steel and walnut grips... very tight and everything is smooth like glass. Fords are like the Colt cap and balls of the car world, and Chevrolets are kinda like the Remingtons!
And of course you've got the Toyota Prius, not sure how you could relate that to any sort of gun given it's a granola type car.
