Wow! TWO entries and one i cant pronounce! Bet the kraut can! "Divorce-Bullet"......"Ifin ya buy another damn gun i'm leavin ya' bullet....oh hell i need coffee! Thanks guys!!

Now we need to NAME THE BULLET, i'll dream up some appropriate little prize for this if successful entry comes from here, utterly arbitrary in picking, criteria is; 'do i like it'.

The general shape kind of reminds me of a shotgun slug, so how about "The Sluggo Bullet"?

bullet billets

Manyirons, you started this,so no mercy!I probably screwed up the spelling but eich [Oak] katz [cat]= squirrel in German, and Kugel is bullet[roundball]I figured one of those pretty little slugs would do a noxious number on a nut- cruncher.Or do you like "possum punchers'?

Derek!

Got the 'squirrelball' word from the kraut, he prefers 'hoernchen' if thats right for spelling.

'rollerball murder' is next suggestion!

Mercy? ME?!?!?!?!?

Nah, 'slug-o-matic is the bb gun i use on slugs! Great shootin, BAD eatin! 'Smith just calls em 'Die Eire von Satan', think it means 'eggs of satan'. Must be WEIRD to have yer head programmed in german!

By skirt if ya mean tha upper ring area, in .36 its .382 nominal, in .45 its .460 nominal, this area will be doubled in width in redesign and shaves off or swages down easily, better than seating a ball!

Dont know! I DO know they drop right in any chamber i've tried right up to tha seating ring, makes loading straight an easy joy. So, all i know right now is theyre smaller than any of a dozen+ guns chambers i've loaded em in. (I'll ask!)

Nope! Last of tha solids going out! (Old design) Wow just READ it! Get this buddy of his playing it close; 'From an estate', i watched UPS pick those up!

You buy lead wire of appropriate diameter, cut it to appropriate lengths, then force the lead wire pieces into the die with a press to form the bullet.

How about "The Terminator BP Hunting Bullet" or "EZ Load Conical" or something catchy like that. Marketing, ya know, requires catchy titles so folk's can remember it long enough to come home and google it.

My favorite bullet name is "Glasier Safety Slug". I mean, WOW, did they cover their bases with that one or what? No, it's not a man killing bullet, it's designed for SAFETY. Keeps the tort lawyers off your butt and sells bullets all in one whack!:D

A thought, wonder if hollowing the base of the bullet as a minie ball so that the pressure in the chamber swells the base into the rifling grooves would help it any????? Seems like if all it has is a ring around the top to engage the grooves, the bullet could wobble down the barrel. If the base swelled on firing, it would eliminate that and still be easy to load.

They're slightly hollow based.

Thanks for telling me how they're made. I knew they were different somehow, as in not being the same soft lead that the balls are made of.
