i was wonderin if any body has been to or heard about this place. it sounds like a blast. you can rent flame throwers fully auto .50s and more fun toys. im intrested in stories and pics/videos.

I've been several times , always an awesome show , always crowded , you can rent/shoot about any full auto you desire or watch others on the firing line blast away at junk cars etc..
If it's not too far for you every gun nut should go once .

Okay, campers...

There's a 10 year wait for a spot on the UPPER firing line. They do have rentals available tho.

It's very impressive.

4.5 hours from St. Louis city.

Used to go when I was younger. Went with my dad the first year (circa 1986). Haven't been back since '98.

Good place to take kids to have them view history in action.

The Patton Museum is a must see as well.

Being that it's only a 3.5 hour drive from my house, I've been there quite a few times. Have even participated in the assault weapons competition.

But I've got to be honest... the full-auto action on the main range bores me. I just enjoy walking though the pole barns and booths looking at stuff.
