Any Kahr experts out there?

I'm looking for a Kahr K4048 (elite). I am having one hell of a time finding them. So far my dealer has found only one...anywhere! What's the deal? Did Kahr stop making them? If so, why? Should I be concerned about buying one and paying premium price? I could really use some info before I make that kind of investment. I e-mailed Kahr, but have yet to get a reply. Any help or bits of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Tom
 
Where are you located?

Near me, (S. E. Tenn.) Kahrs just don't sell very well.

High price, not a very well known name, not high cap., etc.

They can be found here, but if looking for a particular model, you just about have to pay in advance, if you can find a dealer who will order one.

The dealer I use all the time doesn't sell them, and won't take them in trade.
I've got a PM9 that I love, but new ones are $600+ and resale value is about half of that. :banghead:

Keep looking.
In my opinion, they are worth the hunt.
