i dont know if these are coming out this year but i've heard that semi auto versions of the P90 and FN2000 are coming out for the civilian market.

5.7mm sucks anyway. All it is, is a 22 magnum with a spitzer tip. The FBI did trials with it to see if its good.....it failed badly.

Already out. Has been out for a while. It's called an SL8, or SL8-1. Internals are the exact same thing as a G36, modified for semi only, of course. Ugly as sin too.

Gun God - if the 5.7 round sucks as badly as you seem to know it does, why do some FBI and Secret Service units use the platform?

There is also a serious chance Steyr will be gracing the US with new AUGs in '06.

I havent heard anything about P90s jamming, but I have heard that dropped magazines "unzip" and spit out all 50 rounds.

P90 suck is pretty much correct as far as the 5.7's single round performance is concern.. but even if you stitch some one with a burst of 22mag, you are pretty much going to take him down. the P90's 5.7 has fail in some very important test earlyon but the improved round is suppose to be a lot better. Dr Roberts has profromed test that resulted in some very unfavoriteable reports. The FiveseveN is definitely out of place ad a side arm, but P90 with its auto capability is another story. P90 has magazine problem and the rumor has sustained with the interent forums. I try to bang a half loaded P90 on a table to see if the rounds get knock out of place. the round stay true on the gun kept on ticking.

I take the Vector Arms MP5/40 clone. MP5/40 is the best SMG ever produced in my opinion.
