I just purchased a 39-2 today and will have to wait 10 day to bring it home (California...). So let's see some of them til I pick up mine.

S&W model 39-2 was my first ever firearm, bought it one week after my 21st birthday, 1978. Of all the pistols I have sold or traded off, it is the only one I miss. But not because it was that good a shooter, just a really good looking pistol.

I've owned two original Model 39s (really like them best! ), one Model 39-2, one Model 5903, and one of the first Model CS-9 (basically a cut down 39). Have sold or traded them all away, but still really miss them!
