Anyone ever use Accurate Plating & Weaponry?

They have (arguably) the best reputation in the industry.
Some people will put Ford's, Robar, or one of the other's first, but Cogan is one of the top two.

Yep. I like their hard chrome finishes - great service. No idea on other finishes.

Bob Cogan is a perfectionist and does the best plating you can get, plus his completion dates are met. I have had more then 100 guns done by him and never had a complaint. If you have any questions about the type of coating you need you can call and talk to him personally.

Bob did a LW Commander for me when I lived on Kodiak, its been almost 17 years now and the little Colt looks almost as good as it did when I got it back from him, it is super durable and wears like, well, industrial chrome.... I have since used APW for 2 custom full house 1911 builds and numerous hard chrome plating jobs, as remarked before..Bob Cogan IS MR. Hard Chrome himself, by the way, a little know secret (Every Hard Chrome Kel-Tec passes through the hallowed halls of APW). I just got my 1895GG 45-70 back from him (Matte Hard Chrome) and boy is it PURRRRRDY!!

Now you jest drop that thar Purdy hard krome rifle boy and slowly back away

I hope to have the slide back in another week or so - They've had it since the end of Sept.

I've met Mr. Cogan on several occasions when he was still here in Florida.

Everything you've heard is true: 1) He is a perfectionist. 2) He knows what he's doing, especially when it comes to finishes.

I miss dropping by his shop.
