I just measured some last night, and measured them again now I get .5480

I was making up some notes last night on bullet lengths and that’s what I came up with just verified it again. The last person I want to argue with is @LiveLife but I can only report what I came up with.

Not at all ... My wife argues and interjects everything I say on a daily basis ... Interestingly, she is often right ... You know.

And it's not my measurements rather JBM Ballistics measurements. Thing that I did notice was two listings for Sierra 125 gr JHP bullets, .355" and .357" - https://www.jbmballistics.com/ballistics/lengths/lengths.shtml#Sierra

• .355" diameter Sport Master showed .554" length
• .357" diameter Sport Master showed .534" length

So depending when the measurements were made, perhaps lot/profile changes could have changed the bullet length? (I know RMR changed their 124 gr JHP design several times and bullet length did change with each design change)

I believe there is a good chance they may have changed the profile of that bullet. Unfortunately I don’t have any older ones to compare. P.S my wife is right most times as well. Shhhh don’t tell her

Just needed a length to compare seating depths to the bullets I’m using.
Midway still carries the 9mm 125 Sports Master and have added the 124 V crown.
They sure are proud of the Sports Master according to their price.
