Ya run dont walk to get it. Ive had 3 83's and 1 was the Mak chambered gun. Its a shooter just like any other. They are rare....people will right "they are for sale on gun broker" so they arent rare......trust me. They are rare.

The last 83's brought into the country were for a bunch of CZForum members and was over 2 years ago. Only a case was brought in....

I miss mine alot.........enjoy your gun.

Shoot well.............

Yes, excellent pistols that are no longer imported.
more load selection in .380, but the 9mm MAK has
a velocity edge.

I was able to shoot Eric's several times. It is a find gun and very accurate. I would like to own one myself.

If I had the money, I'd consider picking one up in 9mm Mak just because of their obscurity. I doubt I'd actually carry it much due to the weight but I have only seen one with my own eyes and it was not for sale.

FWIW, Karl over at makarov.com is taking orders CZ83 in 9x18 Mak at this time. He's a little expensive, but if you want one, now's the time get it.

Have a CZ83 and is my carry gun. I am a big CZ fan and found this one unfired in box at a gun show here for $260.00.
