excellent bargain and MUCH better than the makrov, the CZ83 is a .380 thats really the only difference, the CZ82 is the military version and 9x18 out of all the ones I'v shot (about 15) every single one has fed hollow points without issue, I have 4 in my collection two are/were unissued still new in the wrap guns (with consecutive serial numbers) the other two were rated "good" by century (all 4 came directly from Century) and are perfect other than the black paint is beat up I'll eventually refinish em with Duracoat...
One thing ya needa understand is that the CZ82 is polygonally rifled the cz83 is standard cut rifling, the CZ82 is far and away more accurate than any other Makrov based gun ya will ever shoot, when ya look down the bore it will look like there is no rifling or very faint this is normal its a TRUE polygonal bore if ya hold the light at the right angle ya'll see the rifling...
Also even my two new ones the paint in the sights was degraded, just clean it out then re-paint with nail polish or what I did was to use "sight brite" green front and red for the dots on the rear, the front is a bar then two dot rear, one of my "good" guns I put tritium vials in rather than paint it came out really nice. The CZ82 sights are far better than a regular Maks sights Plus ya got an Ambi mag release in a western style as well as ambi safty, they have one of the smoothest double action triggers ya'll find on any autoloader, the single action actually sets the trigger back just like a revolver instead of leaving ya with a mile of takeup to deal with etc....
An UNBEATABLE easily concealed gun at a bargain price
