Hello everyone. I recently purchased a doublestar M4 style AR 15 from buds gun shop and have put 130 rounds through it without a single problem. I'm curious about something that i noticed when handling it the other day...when i load a live round into the chamber, close the bolt, then pull the charging handle back to eject the cartridge, there is a very shallow dent in the middle of the primer obviously caused by the fireing pin. i am simply feeding the cartridges through the rifle, not firing them. i have done this with multiple live rounds and they have all been ejected with dents. why is this happeneing? how do i fix it? it was rather scary the first time it happened because it means that the firing pin is striking the primer without me even pulling the trigger!! thoughts?
thanks,
Dylan
