AR triggers

Can anyone explain what a "two stage" trigger is?
I see that mentioned very often in the AR world, and what would be the difference between the two stage trigger and a standard trigger?

This is a decent explanation from Fulton Armory.

In essence, the first stage is the take-up. The second stage is the increased force necessary for the trigger to break the shot.

I've bought two Geissele SSA triggers from ADCO Firearms and they're excellent (trigger and ADCO).

Thanks for the video, it explains alot and I'll give a look at those triggers too. Heard good stuff about Chip McCormick triggers too, know anything about them?
