Perhaps you have been beguiled. Contrast the first posts with the last. I am all for debate, but there is none when persuasion is not a possibility and the only affect is to cause discord. Therefore we discuss gun issues on THR, not on DU.

I do not intend any ad hominem. I am just calling it as I see it, and am willing to back down depending upon the response.

If I was a silly idealist, I might vote for some candidate with less than 1% of the vote, which is a small step above writing in my own name.
