In the last several months I've added a few "under the radar"....

Between my job and the economy in general I'll just have to live with what I've got.

Do need to pick up some more 7.62 x 39 however...

very interesting.... only 8.6% dont think obama is a threat to their guns.

did everyone hear about obamas questionair for people that will work for him?

it asks if they ever owned or own a gun, what kind, why they have it, etc. this is very scary. if people who own guns cant work for him, he is more antigun than even i thought.

Did add another 100 rds of Wolf 7.62x39 today.

Got a line on 1000 rds for $217 something + tax. May use my garage sale earnings to get them because it probably wont be possible after Jan 20.....

You neglected to have a blank; "I believe they WANT to ban everything, but what they will actually be able to do in reality remains to be seen."

I'm not panicking, but I DID buy another lower before the election, and I'm buying a couple of Pmags a month. I was going to do that anyway.

More Ammo is all I need, I've got everything else covered. I started getting my round counts up about 4 months before the election because I knew the power the Dems would have would be the majority.

I didn't vote because there wasn't a proper response. I am not stocking up because we were already disaster prepared. I am surprised at the number of folks who were not.

there is nothing that he can be do for a while, additionally after the panic, prices will go back down again. i do believe that he and the dems will change gun laws and not for the good there are many other things that will come first.

Quite frankly, we have a number of people who are not paying attention. 1st, there is his previous record, 2nd is his choice for AG. COME ON PEOPLE - WAKE UP!!!

Anyone who doesn't think he poses a problem is sticking their head in the sand!

Well, I put another 10/22 on layaway.

Not because of Obama, but because it looked alone, scared, and neglected sitting there on the shelf in the gun store. I ignored it for a month or so, but it keep whinning every time I walked by. Now I plan to bring it home soon so my others can keep it company. They can serve as role models and keep that poor wayward little thing "off the street."

What can I say? I'm just a nice guy that way. :D

I picked up a Colt XSE and a few rounds for it.

To be honest I don't think much is going to happen. With the war, the economy, energy "crisis", environmental issues, etc. I can't see 2nd Amendment issues being at the top of his "to do" list. Especially within a year of the Heller decision. I think even liberals would be a bit perturbed if 2a issues were one of the first things he addresses with all things considered.

Let's hope anyway....

I already live in Chicago, where the Democrats have taken control of our rights...can't buy anything. :banghead:

The two that are likely to retire during Obama's reign are liberals. So the court isn't likely to shift.

So who do you think he'll fill those slots with....pro gun conservative judges? Sure, when pigs fly.

So who do you think he'll fill those slots with....pro gun conservative judges? Sure, when pigs fly.

Read a little closer... the judges that are likely to go during Obama's presidency are already anti-gun and will likely be replaced by similar judges that are anti-gun. That means the balance will remain the same. Two anti-gun out, two anti-gun in.

Just got back from what is usually a large show here in ATL. Fewer sellers than in the past but a line 2 blocks long to get in. Prices are outrageous on the weapons most likely to get banned. A Romanian WASR-10 ($200 a year ago) is $600-$700 now. You don't even want to know what AR's are going for....

OK....I mis read what you stated...yes, I agree...the 2 will be replaced by like in kind. The last vote a squeeker....it doesn't give confidence that they wont be back with another try.

Ask yourselves this.

When the republicans got control of both houses, was there a firey revolution of policy changes? Not exactly. Two good Supreme Court justices. We had the tax cuts, but were they able to make them permanent? No. Did they take serious steps to secure the border? No. Did they overturn Roe v Wade instantly? No. Did they run out of political capital to do pretty much anything but survive? YES.

Think hard and study. There is a BIG difference between what they want to do and what they are ABLE to do just because they got the hat trick in THIS election.

I'm stocking up like crazy!!!.....on all the bolt guns and revolvers that everybody is neglecting because they're so freaked out about getting an AR.
There are some nice deals out there right now on unlikely "ban" weapons.

Stocking up on Guns !

I think we have to consider how Obama is going to try to get his way regarding guns ,since he is an Anti 2nd. ammendment Pres. All he has to do is severely tax ammo to death. Then he has stopped us from being able to use our guns when we can't afford the ammo! He knows he can do this without changing any existing laws. My choice is to buy ammo first.
