A buddy of mine just bought one (lucky bastard) but he does not know what kind of scope or bipod he should use. I figured I would ask the people of THR on what would be the best scope and bipod for the money and durability.
AS far as the bi-pod, he needs to choke down the $$ for the Prince bi-pod Armalite sells for the rifle.
Optics-wise, the AR-50 is very soft recoiling, thus not abusive to scopes. An average Leupold or Nikon will work, if it gives him the magnification and clarity he desires.
I'll agree on the Prince bipod but there are a couple other alternatives out there. The only problem is that they cost as much if not more then the Prince bipod. I'm also biased because I know the Prince man himself and have one of the first 10 adaptors made for an M60 bipod for the AR-50.
I would tell him to buy the most scope that he can afford or buy a lesser scope like the Super Sniper to hold him over until he can save up to buy better glass.
