I Bought A Astra A-75 9mm And Its Appox 2" Off To The Right
At 7 ft It Too Far Off To Adjust Sight I Realy Like The Gun
Iam Thinking A New Barrel And Recoil Spring Might Fix Problem
Please Advise ?

Welcome aboard.

2" at 7' isn't too big of a distance. Why can't you drift adjust the rear sight?

IMO, it might pay you to find a pistolsmith who's familiar with the design and have them take a look at it.

If what you've already done hasn't had any effect, and your pistol shows similar results in other hands, then there may be something else at work that needs to be addressed. Hopefully, something less drastic and costly than replacing the barrel.

It could be something which minor refitting or a rework for different sights would resolve. Without examining it personally, its impossible to guess what exactly might be necessary.

Finding a model-specific DIY sight replacement solution to try instead, fixed or adjustable, may be difficult if not impossible. A quick browse through the Midway catalog doesn't list anything for an Astra. Brownell's may have something, but I don't have their book at hand.

At the very least a 'smith could identify the precise source of the problem for you. At that point you'd have the option of deciding whether the cost to correct it is worthwhile to you or not.

Hope this is of some help.

My A75L shoots to point of aim at any reasonable distance.
I'd check the barrel crown. Might be easy to fix with 5 minutes in a lathe.

Get someone else to shoot it before you mess with it - it might just be you (no offence).

+1. In my mind, the first variable to explore when a gun becomes inaccurate is the shooter. Has anyone else shot the gun, and had the same result? If so, then yeah, I'd look at the gun being the issue. But if it's only happening when you yourself shoot the gun, then you're gonna need to adjust your technique.

thanks
