Nassau DA Kathleen Rice is unveiling a new attempt to get rid of "illegal guns" off the streets of Nassau, claiming it will make the community "more safer"

I am already in contact with several Nassau and Long Island NRA reps about this. PLEASE, if you live in Nassau, act now and contact your local NRA rep. Even if you are not a member yet(The last time I went to Long Island I encountered a lot of fence sitters who are still debating whether to join the NRA or not.)

i found the statement about helping those parolees (prior offenders IOW, people who already have been in prison and have been caught since being released, people who don't care anymore) not commit gun related offenses. really breathtaking the logical leaps and bounds...
instead of putting budget money into recidivist offenders why not not spend it, or if it must be spent spent on the next generation's education and future?
