Remember the old days and the old ways?

I'm speaking of when real movies were made in Black & White, the male leads had admirable character "off-screen" while the gals didn't necessarily have perfect teeth and, um... non-OEM components?

Well, I have a viewing suggestion for you from that period: BORN YESTERDAY (1950 w/Judy Holiday, Bill Holden & Broderick Crawford)

I spotted this one at the library and upon viewing, thought I had made a mistake after the initial 10-20 minutes. But as the story progressed, I began to find it more and more interesting - although certainly never approaching "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" in complexity...

But the capper is this: the 2A is actually READ ---- ALOUD!!

Get it - play it - and be proud of what Hollywood COULD produce in the not so dimly lit past.

Perhaps your local library can be of assistance in your search for this little gem.
