My India made ML 12ga SXS likes 70grFFg Goex, OP card, 1/2" lubed fiber filler wad, 1 1/8 oz #6 shot + over shot card wad. Max load printed on barrel is 90gr FFg+1 1/4 oz shot. I haven't tried to work up a ball load yet but a .69cal patched ball with and without wads underneath is where I plan to start. You will want to know whether the ball hits anywhere near where the sights indicate. It is not a bad idea to shoot a ball to see where the center of thepattern will be for each barrel. a real simple pattern board is a big cardboard box or a sheet of cardboard with butcher paper stapled to it with an aiming point drawn on. Set it out 10, 20, or 30 yards to see what happens. Use a marked ramrod to see if the unfired barrel has had the charge shift forward under recoil of the first fired barrel and vice versa.
