Clearly, these weapons of mass destruction have no purpose in a civilized society! Nine people, including a child were needlessly slaughtered and
dozens more injured. How many more people need to be killed by 'unloaded
cars' before we change the laws of this nation?

Ban all saturday night cars (below $10K)!
Ban all high capacity cars (busses, vans, SUV's)!
Ban all assault cars (black ones)!

At least 11 children are killed every day by cars. Where is the outrage?


...seriously though, hope nobody on this list had a loved on in this mess.
 
please... I am all for Gun rights, but such tragedy like this one to make your point is insensitive. It's like saying let's BAN Boeing 747 for ramming into World trade center. I think this one will be closed also.
 
Thank God somebody has spoken out at last.

It's high time that reasonable and sensible regulation of American's right to travel and assembly is instituted. The founding fathers clearly didn't envision these modern military-style assault vehicles, these "engines of death," when they incorporated into the Constitution the collective rights of Americans to travel and assemble.

At a minimum, a military-style assault vehicle having any two of the following enhanced killing features should be banned: The Jeep logo, green paint, 4-wheel drive, a receiver hitch (capable of hauling a trailer that might potentially carry a diesel fuel & nitrate fertilizer bomb), externally carried spare tire, tinted glass, fog lamps, all-terrain tires, brush guards, engines with greater than 4-cyl. capacity (no honest person needs more than 4 cylinders), skid plates, locking differentials, or a safari roof rack.
