Shoot, and I thought GB was a safe place now that all the evil guns have gone bye bye..

And he is looking at a TOTAL ban on the most lethal hunting knives.

Ought to be on APS... GB=Socialist Nanny State

Well, it's not gun-related, but..

GB is becoming the epitome of a socialist nanny state.. The bane of good old fashioned American self-reliance.. (derived from many Scottish/Irish immigrants, along with others..)

You might want to start a thread on this on APS.. It could be interesting!

Well, just goes to show that banning firearms does very little to quell violence... It's not the tool, it's the person...

I wish I could find the article of that; I used it in a speech class assignment where I had to give a speech aganst gun control, and it said something along those lines. It also admitted that both the US and English did not necessarily agree that it was fully accurate in its numbers, but that right there was the gist: gun control controls guns, not crime.
 
They need to ban pillows... smothering is getting out of control.

O.k. it's not, but this would be a pre-emptive strike.
