I have a suppressor comming and have to get my 9mm baby eagle a threaded barrel, I just bought a 4.5" barrel for my 3.9" pistol. All I need to do is have someone cut some 1/2x28" threads into it.... Where is the best place to do it or ship it that wont break the bank.... Thanks

first, double check your suppressor thread pattern. 1/2 x 28 is commonly used for 223 or 5.56. 9mm is usually 1/2 x 32 or 1/2 x 36.

second, I would send the barrel to the company that made the suppressor. That way if it doesn't fit, it's there fault.

I could be totally off base but it seems like threading is a pretty simple machining process so any local gunsmith can likely do it for you. However I have never had a barrel threaded.

The reason for the different thread for the 9mm vs the 5.56 is so that a person not paying attention to what's going on can't put a 5.56 can or a different attachment on a 9mm. Seams to me that would cause a big problem.

Since your can is a 9mm you are safe, just hate to think of somebody putting something wrong on it.
