I already have half a dozen 32acp handguns, but none of them have sights worth squat, and most of them have short barrels. Since they are just range toys, I kept hoping to get something that I can shoot more accurately at longer ranges. I love my Colt 1903, but the sights are so tiny!

I had seen a Beretta Model 100 a time or two, but the prices were outrageous. I saw this one with a reasonable "buy it now" price on GunMakeMeBroker yesterday. It looked pretty good in the pictures. I hemmed and hawed a long time, about 20 seconds, before I clicked the button to purchase it.

I probably won't get it until next Saturday. I'm sure looking forward to shooting it.

Does anyone here know very much about them? I am wallowing in ignorance at the moment.

I don't know anything about those. Looks like it would be a sweet target gun. What's the bore diameter?

I had a Model 70 in .32 a few years back. Great little gun but the biggest problem I had was finding magazines for it. When I bought it it didn't have a magazine and no factory magazines were to be found anywhere. Finally came across an aftermarket one that wasn't as nicely made as a Beretta magazine but at least it worked alright.

Be glad I didn't run across that. I'm looking for my birthmas present and I will be 32 this year. I love beretta and I love 32 caliber but I refuse to get a tomcat because they are essentially a belly gun. Been looking at 32 mag and 327 revolvers, but that one would have been snatched up licketty split.

I just wish I had bought one back when they could be had much more reasonable. *sigh*

I have 4 different Model 70/71s and a 101, all in .22LR. They are excellent pistols; you will surely love the 100. They are easy to strip and clean, and have great triggers. When you get used to that one get another in a slightly different flavor; different caliber and barrel length.

I had a Tomcat and disliked it. The trigger was horrible and it was no fun to shoot. Then I read about their frame cracking problem and traded it towards an LCR.

Other than the Colt, I also have a Mauser 1914, an MAB Model D, a CZ70... and it seems like I am maybe forgetting about another one. I keep intending to do a 32acp compare and contrast article.

I have a Model 71 inbound supposedly in Excellent condition. Just need to remove the faux monstrosity when it gets here. Love Berettas and have an 81Fs - if I'd seen that one would have picked it up too. My .32 collection has slowly been growing. Great pickup and enjoy!

Very nice! That will be fun. I have a 70s in .380 and that series were excellent guns. I also have a CZ70 and an Astra Constable in .32.........all good!
For what it is worth, my Beretta poster of 70 series indicates that the 100 was made only in 1969 thru 1971. 9 +1 capacity, 5.9" barrel, 1 in 10 rifling, half cock hammer position, and that the rear sight is adjustable on a slide. Might be more on Wikipedia.

Neat looking gun! Sort of looks like a 1934 or 35 all dressed up for a night on the town, dancing and socializing.

Also movie or TV prop-ish, dare I say, Shiny.

Adjustable sights on that don't ruin the look like the ones on late model Browning FN1922 guns.

I hope it shoots as good as it looks.

Thank you for the kind comments, everyone.

And thank you for the info, 9 Fingers.

I used to have one of those FEG 32acp's, maybe it was called an AP9 or something like that? It was a very nice gun, but my FiL talked me out of it.

32acp is fun to shoot. I am really looking forward to trying this one out.
