I see Beretta has a new version of the 92FS, but with a redesigned grip. Has anyone shot this pistol and what are your thoughts on it??? Does it make a difference or not. While on this subject matter what are your thoughts on the Beretta 92 FS???

I believe the Vertec is no longer made. There is the 90 Two that has been out for about a year.
The 92FS is a great gun and very dependable.

Yeah the vertec is old news I believe it had the same grip angle as the 1911 and light rails as its only difference.

WOW am I behind the times!!! :what:

OK, I have seen and held the 90-two and the grip doesn't seem any different than that of the 92 FS. I heard that they are coming with different set of grips that you can install yourself. Is this a true statement??? How much of a difference do these grips make????

The grip on the 92 Vertec is also a little thinner than on the standard 92. Bought mine because I have smaller hands.
