Berger bullets loading for 264 win

I have a model 70 sporter with a boss been shooting Nosler ballistic tip with imr 4350 powder, looking to change to a Berger vld in either the 130 or140 grain any suggestions or load recommendations thanks

A friend of mine and his uncle used to load the 120gr Partition over a healthy dose of H-4831.

That said the 140gr would be my choice over something like H 4350 or slower. There are several more powders on the market today than were around 30+years ago that can really make that bullet shine.

In my 25-06 AI I found that Ramshot Magnum does the trick for both velocity and accuracy with bullets up to 130'ish. I haven't tried the 133gr Berger yet but it is on my radar for this spring.

I switch my 300 ultra to Berger from a partition and have zero regrets that’s why I’m switching my go to gun to berger
