The Thunder 380 will be my next gun. I am deciding on the regular 380 verses the CC model. For those who have tried them. Do you prefer the SA/DA or the DA only. Just don't know if I would like the DA trigger on every shot. Please give your thoughts.

I know I am going to get some wise cracks. It should be DAO not DOA. Couldn't figure out how to edit the heading.

The Bersa Thunder 380cc is not DAO. It is the exact same gun as the regular Thunder 380 except: skinnier grips, fixed short sights, flat mag plate, flattened controls, and stumped hammer. So other than appearances, the internals are exactly the same.

N.Schafer got it right.

The CC is quite a bit nicer for carry, IMO. If the finger grips fit you. I have the non-CC version, but it wasn't worth the extra $100 to me (yes, I got a good deal on the it), since it's not my EDC, or even my occasional carry.

I own both. The CC is sa/da just like the other Bersas. The CC is slightly smaller and rounded. it also has an 8 round magazine as opposed to the 7 round magazine on the regular Thunder 380.

I have thunder and CC models, the CC is nicer. Even the front portion of the gripframe has finger-grooves. Not just the grip panels, the aluminum frame itself. The hammer is slightly bobbed but easy to thumb it back for a single-action shot. Blowback but much easier to hold firmly than my LCP's so recoil is not an issue. A customer was comparing it to a kelTec 9mm P11 and decided on the Bersa because of the nice doubl/singl trigger
