If you know somebody with an FFL http://www.bhshooters.com/ is a good place to buy. No shipping or hazmat fees for primers or powder. I priced some 180g Hex HP's for $62/1000 they are Rainiers. If you get over 500lbs mix/match they are $57/1000.

peace.

What about northeast bullet co. anyone got there orders from them yet?

I've ordered from them before but this time no response to email ..etc.. I see there shop was close in june but i ordered rafter 4th of july they could at least email ya

http://northeastbullet.com/shop.htm

I placed an order with them on June 29th. Received it July 31. When I ordered they said they had a 3-week backlog. It took 5 weeks, but the bullets are good.

Two Alpha Bullets are also good. Only drawback is theyu don't take plastic so it slows the order process a little bit.

I use LeadHeads (see Steve 48's post above).

The gas-checked rifle bullets seem fine. They are the only place I found that makes 6.5mm rifle bullets, so I can push lead through my Swede Mauser.

slug..errrr..plug for Penn Bullets

I use Penn Bullets exclusively for my cast bullets.
Bob Palermo is a super nice fellow and produces a very high quality product.
He has figured a deal on how to ship the max amount of bullets (around 2400) for the standard shipping price.
Just my $.02. No affiliation, interest, etc. disclaimer here.

I've never shot, or reloaded, lead bullets before. I'm interested in Northeast Bullets that a few members have mentioned.

I'm not sure what "option" I would want:

1. Moly coated with grease groove lube
2. Grease groove lube with NO MOLY
3. Not lubed, not sized
is Moly coated what you want? If the bullets are not shot for a long time, like a year, does the grease and/or moly dry up?

Sorry for the noob questions... I've been reloading for a long time, but only with jacketed bullets (and plated lately).

Best bullet prices

I hate to revive an old thread but what are the best current bullet prices and makers out there. Would love to hear actual prices you have paid including shipping in the past 2 months or for the 2009 year. Please Advise and Thank you for your time

I also have been looking. Trying to get into loading myself. I did check and some of the sites listed here are still active.

If you are looking for cast, check http://www.gardnerscache.com/
They have some good prices still. according to there site.

missouri bullet co

Missouri bullet has great prices, great selection and great customer service. read about these guys on a post on one of the many forums i frequent. check out their site if you don't see the bullet you want send them an email or give them a call, they have others available that they don't advertise on their site. shipping if i remember right is ~$10-11 for a usps flat rat box, they can ship approx 2,000 230 gr bullets for that price. prices are great 500 125gr lrn 9mm $26, 500 230gr lrn $39. these prices with shipping are way lower then anything i can find locally.

Precisiondelta.com

I buy 9mm 124 gr FMJ from Precisiondelta.com.....7.2 cents ea with free shipping. Cheaper in higher quantities. They carry other types and cals.

They are backlogged, so there is a wait to get your order

Two Alpha Bullets are also good. Only drawback is theyu don't take plastic so it slows the order process a little bit.

Johns a great guy to deal with , send a postal m/o there shouldn't be any hold-up , I sent a personal check and had bullets the same week
