Most people would say that a Revolver is a good starting point.
However, the DA revolver design is over 100 years old now.
Some shooters demand a semi-automatic for CCW. I have
to agree. We live in 2003, not 1933.
A perfect pistol for CCW is the PCR. Light, durable and very
safe, due to it's decocker design.
Will cost you a bit more than a 75B, but is designed for European POLICE duty and serves well in the USA for covert carry.
Same can be said for the CZ P-01, yet it has a blockier profile..
as the tactical rail is not really desirable for a CCW gun.
I carry mine with the M-3 attatched, but it is a quite bulky
setup.
In any event. don't overlook the CZ when you think of your
first CCW pistol.
