Which 9mm pistol makes the best host for a suppressor? What I mean is what pistol, when a sound suppressor is added, will be the quietest and have the best reliability? Thanks.

If you go Glock or 1911 - you have to find your own barrels and they may require fitting
I have never seen a Glock factory barrel offered commercially through my vendors but I have not called Glock directly. I will do this Monday.I don't live in the United States, so what Glock offers overseas is not known to me, but I just ordered a factory threaded barrel from Glock and I know a couple of people who did the same (either seperately or they bought the gun with TB immediately) for 9mm as well as .45 Glocks (.40 not very common here).
They don't advertise this on their website, but you could contact them directly and ask if they sell threaded barrels if you wish to go with a Glock for your suppressed 9mm.
A threaded barrel is probably one of those "bad" features that would make them illegal to import. Just like how you can't get 380 Glocks.I don't live in the United States, so what Glock offers overseas is not known to me, but I just ordered a factory threaded barrel from Glock
A T/C Contender, with a long barrel.
Might this also reduce the blow back into the shooter's face, that is typically associated with suppressors?Actually...the SigP226 has been proven a more quiet host than all others. We think its because the barrel stays locked up a fraction of a second longer than other platforms.
