Coming from a person who has never hunted bear because I never saw the point.. the Bitterroot National Forest around Missoula is lousy with the buggers.
Heck.. if it were legal you could shoot a black bear from my Grandmother's kitchen table at the edge of town at least once a week. You would even get a pie out of it, she hates the things.
