I have a 1999 SW 629 .44 mag round butt and want to get new grips for it as mine are 20 years old. Some have said that after many years rubber loses some of it's recoil absorption properties which makes sense as rubber does break down over time.
I also have very small hands but the current grips do feel thin to me so perhaps a fuller grip will help also.
I'm looking at the Hogue Tamer grips and Pachmayr Decelerator grips (Pachmayr told me the Decelerator has better recoil reduction than their new Diamond Pro grips).
Which one of these grips is better at recoil reduction?
