Biggest cartridge flops ...

After reading six pages of "flops" I realized I own or have owned most of the "flops". The upside to owning a safe full 'flops' you ask? While everyone was panicking and wiping the shelves clean of ammo, brass and projectiles to feed their "favorites" and leaving many with nothing to shoot I never missed a range trip. There was plenty of components for me to keep shooting my 'flops'.
Yea me too. My varmit rifle is a .222 mag and my brush rifle(although I never really use it) is a .375win. And a Glock 32 in .357sig is currently loaded in my bedroom.

Go figure.

Maybe, but one of the unfortunate side effects of the ammo shortage is that with the production lines running full tilt cranking out 308 / 22LR / 9mm, the manufacturers can't afford to stop the line and change tooling to crank out less popular ammo / brass. Try buying some 444 Marlin brass or some 218 Bee ammo. (not that those are flops).

It'll probably be a while before you can find any 223 WSSM or 7-30 Waters brass.

When things were bad last year one LGS had 218 Bee, 45/70, 32/20, 25/20, 6.5x55, etc. These rounds aren't commonly used here.

Now 351 Win was a flop.
